Tim Heath, an Australian cryptocurrency entrepreneur and founder of Yolo Group, narrowly avoided abduction in Estonia last July through an unorthodox self-defense maneuver—biting off his attacker's finger. The incident, confirmed by DNA evidence from the severed digit, unfolded when two assailants ambushed Heath in his Tallinn apartment stairwell.
One attacker, identified as Azerbaijani national Allahverdi Allahverdiyev, attempted to silence Heath during the assault.
